Q: Where do you come from?
A: Brittany, on the west coast of France.
Q: When did you go on your working holiday?
A: From 2016 to 2017.
Q: Where did you go for your working holiday and why?
A: I had network to find jobs in Hong Kong and I also wanted to travel in Asia. Joining the working holiday scheme in HK was therefore a good way to conciliate these two aspects.
Q: What kinds of jobs did you do, and what kinds of courses did you take during your working holiday?
A: When I first arrived in Hong Kong, I worked in a French restaurant in the central district for a few months. After that, I worked at an online fashion company based in Hong Kong. In parallel, I designed furniture for a supplier based in China.
Q: Tell us one of your most unforgettable memories in your working holiday.
A: I have a lot of memories in Hong Kong: the meetings, the challenging but magnificent hikes, the innumerable restaurants and of course the nightlife in Lan Kwai Fong!
But if I have to choose only one unforgettable memory, it would be celebrating the New Year on a boat in the Victoria Harbour. The firework was amazing!.
Q: What is the greatest reward you have got from your working holiday?
A: The Working Holiday allowed me to live in a global city, to discover a different culture and a different lifestyle. It enabled me to discover different sectors of activities, to develop my professional network, to prove myself in a job that I like and to confirm my desire to travel.
Q: Can you give 3 tips for young people who wish to visit the working holiday destination of your choice?

Don't leave without saving since the rent in Hong Kong is very expensive (A good plan that allowed me not to exceed the budget of accommodation: share your bed with a friend).
2)
Don't hesitate to join the working holidaymakers groups in the social networks to discover new places and meet new people who can help you to find jobs and may also become your friends.
3)
Don't be afraid of this anthill (high population density in Hong Kong), we adapt and attach ourselves to it!
Q: Is there any extra thing you would like to tell us?
A:

Don't think that the drops falling on your head when you are walking down the street are all falling from the sky. Most of them are coming from the air conditioners!
2)
Don't hesitate anymore, pack your luggage, there are creperies in Hong Kong!
3)
"Little Indian, Big City" is the English name of a French movie that I love: "Un indien dans la ville". It's a story of an Indian who discovers Paris for the first time. I come from a very small city in France, so this story makes me think of myself when I left my hometown to Hong Kong :)
